Tag 2 is the best Tekken game ever made. Tekken 8 is a close 2nd though.

Would swap T7 & T8 with T6 and Tag 2 tbh. 7 and 8 are both irritating and bad in their own unique ways.

In tekken 6’s defense it introduced alot of moves I like , like bryan’s hatchet kick and 3+4 , dragonov qcf1 and qcf3 and feng’s qcf1+2 and f3,4 ,…

T4 is what Tekken could’ve been
Real fighters (No anime bs)
Matured themed backstories (Except for Kuma)
Dynamic in-game camera angles
Unique stages
A balance patch short of being the GOAT

Tekken 5/ Soul Calibur 3 art style to this day is style my favorite art style in gaming. The characters looked like buff little action figures but at the same time the faces and animations were so expressive

Putting TTT2 at the bottom is actually crazy. Definitely the only only I don’t agree with. TTT2 was dumb fun, but DAMN it was fun. T6 is and forever will be my absolute least favorite Tekken. Boring, ugly, worst new characters in Tekken history, actively ruined Tekken’s story that they’re still (failing) to repair to this day and busted. But thas jus me.
